A.P.E.X Sports specific training program is designed to develop strength, power, speed, and agility using Olympic lifts and advanced speed dynamics, mirroring the programming of many Division 1 collegiate programs.

Our Head Trainers

Steve Cimino

Founder, Head Trainer

Steve began his training career shortly after graduating college. He started exclusively training teams as a skills development coach for the New England Revolution of MLS. Shortly after signing on with the Revolution skills development program, Steve transitioned to their performance development program. Steve has spearheaded the Sports Performance department of the Fieldhouse Sudbury, where he focused on the development and progression of all types of athletes. Now working as a group and individual trainer, Steve uses his passion for fitness to push others to succeed.

Phil Cimino

Founder, Head Trainer

In just a short time, Phil has propelled himself into a top tier trainer in the New England area. Phil, along with co-founder Steve Cimino attended Westfield State University. At Westfield Phil received his bachelors as a Health and Fitness Specialist. He also stared as a member of the University’s Men’s Soccer team during his time there. Shortly after graduating, Phil accepted a position through the NJCAA as the head Strength and Conditioning coach for Massachusetts Bay Community College. Along with training athletes, Phil works as a personal trainer/health coach for a diverse spectrum of clients. As a certified, practicing member of the American College of Sports Medicine, Phil believes that achieving success is a result of hard work. “There are no shortcuts to fitness…If you do what you have to do, you will get what you want from it!”
